Kai is our Doberman. Looking for the best food for him, we kept finding the same thing: cereals, vegetables and fillers to cut costs. But that's not how a dog eats. In the wild he eats whole prey: meat, bone and organs, in the right proportions.
So we started making it ourselves, following those same proportions. Kai is our first taster, and he loves it. Barcelona deserved this, done properly and honestly.

What is the PMR diet?
Prey Model Raw: raw feeding that mirrors whole prey. Meat, bone and organs in their natural proportions, with no cereals or vegetables. Learn more.
Is it the same as BARF?
Not quite. BARF adds vegetables and fruit; PMR is only meat, bone and organs, like whole prey. If you're looking for BARF food in Barcelona, PMR is the version closest to what a dog eats in the wild.
How much should I feed my dog?
It depends on their size, age and activity: small dogs eat around 3-4% of their body weight a day, large dogs around 2%. Use the calculator and we give you a personal portion that we fine-tune with you.
How do I switch from kibble?
Over about 7 days, gradually replacing their usual food with raw. You can mix them in the same bowl. Our switching guide takes you through it step by step, and you can message us any time.
How do I store and thaw it?
Keep it in the freezer at −18 °C. Thaw it in the fridge 12 to 24 hours ahead and use it within 2 to 3 days. Wash your hands and the bowl afterwards, as with any raw meat.
Is raw meat safe?
Dogs are adapted to eating raw meat, but it needs the same hygiene as the meat you cook at home. If your dog is a puppy or unwell, or someone at home has a weak immune system, check with your vet first.
Is it suitable for puppies?
Yes, but puppies need different portions. Tell us their age and weight and we'll advise you personally; we also recommend checking with your vet.
How does delivery work?
We deliver in Barcelona city. Every order is made to order and arrives frozen within about a week. Delivery is free from €100 and €6.90 below that. You pay before delivery.
How much does it cost?
Chicken is €8.90/kg as a one-off order (€4.45 per 500 g bag). With a subscription you save 5% to 16% depending on how many kilos each delivery has. The calculator shows the exact price of your dog's box. Our first 50 clients get a special founder price.
Can I pause or cancel my subscription?
Yes, any time, with no minimum term. Just let us know before we prepare your next order.
Can my dog try different proteins?
Yes, but one at a time. Start with a single protein (chicken) for about two weeks, until their stools are normal and steady. Then add one new protein a week and watch their stools, skin and digestion. If your dog has allergies or digestive problems, check with your vet first.
